How we came to be in 2012….

During the annual Christmas Santa Sparkle event which was originally held on Lamlash green a group of local shop owners got together and decided to hold a post Christmas clearance sale in Brodick hall. The event was so successful that they decided to hold it every year and it was thus named ‘Shop Arran’. Today it is now firmly established as an annual ‘Shop Arran’ weekend held before Christmas attracting people from all over Arran and the mainland.

Many ‘bricks and mortar’ shops now take part and offer discounts, promotions and festive cheer every year.

Wee Bookshop
