This gift shop tucked away at Cladach is a cornucopia of original gifts and souvenirs, come and see our Goat Fell model before you climb, and then buy our tee-shirt or medal to show off your achievement!

Peep at the miniature faerie village and see if there are faerie footprints next to the tiny waterfall. Many of our gifts are made or printed in our workshop upstairs, many more are brought to us by Arran makers and artists.

Arran Active

Situated in the heart of Brodick, Arran Active is overflowing with lovely stock. In clothing we have superwarm down jackets from technical outdoor brands, plus lots of warm jumpers from sustainable names such as Pachamama and Passenger. And so many hats, gloves, handwarmers, scarves….. Our large footwear department boasts great walking boots from the likes of Scarpa and Meindl, as well as lovely winter boots and slippers. And of course, there’s socks – who doesn’t like new socks for Christmas?

We also have our own range of Arran hoodies and tees, great for sending to family all over the world! Away from clothing and footwear, we have lots of outdoorsy gifts, plus a range of books, calendars and jigsaws. And of course we have a great team here, happy to advise if you’re struggling for inspiration. We look forward to seeing you over the Shop Arran weekend!

We feature work from up to 40 independent local craftspeople and producers, plus wool and haberdashery. Some of our wool is locally spun, hand-dyed, and then knitted. Our makers work in wood, woven fabric, silver, found seaglass, mosaic glass, textiles, fine art prints, original artwork homewares, beading, candles.

Black Fox Studio

Black Fox Studio is an independent art gallery and picture framing workshop.

As a working artist’s studio, the gallery showcases a growing collection of original Arran-inspired artwork including prints, etchings and charcoal works inspired by the landscapes, coastline and character of the Isle of Arran. Visitors are welcome to browse the collection, see works in progress and gain an insight into the creative process. We also stock a carefully selected range of nautical sea charts and local maps of all sizes.

Marty’s is a brand new shop in Lamlash selling gifts and souvenirs. Offering custom printing and the opportunity to design your own souvenir or create a bespoke item for your own business. The future pottery painting area is currently a craft space and is open for people to sit and break open a purchased craft set. Over Winter we will host a variety of craft workshops.

The Old Byre Visitor Centre comprises 2 shops, the Old Byre Showroom, The Shoe Bothy, Cafe Thyme and a children’s play area. The Old Byre Showroom stocks quality knitwear, sustainable clothing brands, waterproof jackets, wool throws and accessories. The Shoe Bothy stocks all types of footwear from pre-walkers to pensioners, shoes, sandals, slippers, boots, walking boots and wellies as well as sheepskin rugs, handbags and purses. The Byre at Brodick is a smaller version of the Old Byre Showroom.

Arran’s only Mystical Shop selling a fine selection of esoteric, spiritual and handcrafted gifts, from Tarot and Oracle cards, gemstones, Himalayan salt lamps, dream catchers, incense, soy candles, aromatherapy products etc. Tools for spiritual practices; singing bowls, pendulums, crystal points and grids, smudging kits, spell candles and Magick gifts for your Altar. Owner Elaine Mackie Wright also produces her handcrafted silver jewellery on site and sells this along with her Arran inspired art merchandise.

The Arran Gift Box & Driftwood by the Sea

What began as selling quality Arran Hampers and cheeses at farmers markets in central Scotland quickly turned into a passion for all of the amazing goods produced on the Island we and our family call home.

Taking our venture one step further we created Arran Gift Box so that everyone can bring a little bit of Arran into their own homes no matter where they are. From evoking treasured memories to exploring the island for the first time, no matter what the motivation, an Arran Gift Box is sure to inspire and thrill any recipient.

Each box contains a range of specially curated products from some of the finest producers on the Isle of Arran including luxury chocolate from James of Arran, speciality cheddars from the Arran Cheese Shop and over course signature malts from Arran Whisky. Packed in branded Arran Gift Boxes there’s no need to wrap these beautiful gifts.

Since 2022 we are proud to now be the exclusive place online where you can buy the famous Aran Cheese hampers and chutneys, produced just along the road by our friends at Arran’s Cheese Shop.
